Before the holidays, I purchased an AIR ASIA ASEAN PASS. At first, I thought it was a very good deal considering I only paid Php 7,200.00 plus the travel tax for a 10 Credits Travel Pass which I can use to explore 70 Destinations across ASEAN, until I started to make my first booking, THE FLIGHTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE!!! Lol

But of course, giving up is not an option. I need to make the most out of this purchased so, I change my whole plan and booked my first flight to Singapore with a different airline. Lol

BTW if you wanted to learn more about what exactly is this AirAsia ASEAN PASS, click here and here.

In summary, I paid Php 7,200.00 for my ASEAN PASS and Php 8,037.00 for Travel Taxes. Also, I still have 2 credits left which I can used to travel to any domestic destination around the Philippines – if the flight is available.

Nice to see you again Kuala Lumpur ? I ❤ KL

So is the Air Asia ASEAN PASS worth it?

I would say YES, but you have to be very cautious and plan your trip or route in advance and use all your credits to save. Also, having a flexible schedule would help, because its difficult to find flight on weekends/high season.

One last thought, It doesn’t matter if your preferred flight is not available, book a different flight. You do not know what adventure is waiting for you in that destination. There is so much things to see and do in South East Asia.
