One thing I have had on my bucket list is to gallop a horse across an open field. I am close enough to ticking it off from my bucket list one weekend at EL Kabayo Stables in Subic. I said close enough because as soon as the horse run, I started to panic and pull back the reins to make the horse stop.Lol

Let me tell you though: this is not the first time I’ve been on a horse back and I have the picture below to prove my claim. Lol.

What I had was a leisurely horseback ride which may not be as fun and exciting as galloping a horse but for a first-timer is quite fun. I can’t wait to visit again for a proper horse back riding lesson.

El Kabayo Stables is managed by Wildlife in Need, an NGO that specializes in animal care and welfare. They operate the WIN Rescue Center, a haven for sick, injured and confiscated wildlife of the forest. All proceeds from riding activities fo to the care and welfare of  the horses.
